How to Plan or forecast OSP item demand in Oracle ?

Oracle OSP items are Work in Process driven, hence there is no direct demand can be seen from ASCP.
Its always challenging task to Buyers to establish Pricing for Parts / services sourcing from vendors. All regular parts demand can be driven from ASCP / Inventory Planning but OSP Parts demand needs to be established from Parent items.

Solution Approach :
So to meet this requirement, we created one report to capture all Planned orders thats been generated for Parent items. This Planned Order report gives the visibility on Future requirements of parent item.
This list gives indirectly Future demand requirements for OSP items.
When Buyer establishing the pricing for OSP Item/services, share this info (tsp demand requirements) to vendors thru RFQ. Vendor plans accordingly his capacity & ensure onetime deliveries.
